    Home Inspections

      Halas Engineering offers a visual inspection of structures. Contact Christina to schedule an inspection.

      Our visual inspection is based on visual evidence available under normal conditions and in compliance with standards of practice of the National Academy of Building Inspection Engineers. A written report is typically  prepared by the next business day and includes the following:

      Foundation Heating/Plumbing/Electrical Exterior/Decks/Roof/Gutters
      Basement/Crawl Space/Attic Bathrooms/Laundry/Kitchen Caulking/Paint
      Drainage Fireplaces/Woodstoves Driveways/Sidewalks
     

       The visual inspection is of readily accessible and visible areas of the building and is limited to visual observations of apparent conditions existing at the time of the inspection. In this inspection we are not looking for latent or concealed defects.

      Maintenance and other items may be discussed, but are not part of this inspection.
